USAII® Global AI Hackathon is supported by an exceptional network of judges, mentors, and speakers — empowering students worldwide to design, build, and showcase responsible, real-world AI solutions at scale.
A Global Glimpse
Judges review submissions asynchronously using a shared rubric focused on problem understanding, AI reasoning, solution design, impact, and responsible AI. Judges should have relevant professional or academic experience and be able to commit roughly four hours across the judging period.
Applications ClosedMentors support learning and thinking, not project execution. They help teams with framing, AI design, tradeoffs, and presentation, and they may participate in office hours or scheduled check-ins. Mentors do not code, build, or complete project work for teams.
Applications ClosedSpeakers contribute keynotes, workshops, or talks that help students build stronger projects and understand how AI connects to careers, systems, and society. Sessions may be live or recorded to support global participation.
